Preston Reine is a group manager in the Industrial Technology team. His areas of expertise include manufacturing technology, encompassing industrial automation equipment, building technologies, and wireless power and power supply.  

Preston has contributed to the broadening of the company’s reports coverage into energy efficiency, smart manufacturing, the Industrial Internet of Things, and the new class of powerhouse forces collectively being referred to as emerging or transformative technologies. Engaging with other research groups is also part of his charter, as Preston aims to bring customers a deeper understanding of the crucial trends occurring in a wide array of verticals that shape the global environment.  

Preston has done extensive research on motor-driven systems and related factory automation equipment, and he is highly skilled in advanced research methods, statistical interpretation, and public speaking. While in the course of conducting his own research, Preston was also able to successfully form several new working relationships with major suppliers and trade associations for these groups to become new areas of study for the company.  

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Saint Edward's University in Austin, Texas, and currently works at the company’s Austin office.
