Danson Njue is a research analyst in Omdia's Middle East and Africa team. His focus is on mobile and fixed operators, and vendor strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In his role, Danson tracks the development of mobile and fixed telecommunication sectors as well as the regulatory environment in the region.

His research interests include mobile broadband and LTE, rural connectivity, digital services, and MFS strategies to grow operator service revenues in the emerging markets.


He holds an MSc in telecommunication technology from Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa, and an BSc in electrical and electronics engineering from JKUAT, Kenya.
